Exploring the Stage (ages 8-12) - Taught by Maggie Tryk
Saturdays, April 12 to May 31, 10:30-12pm, $95
Our acting class for youth builds the skills actors need through collaborative exploration, theatre games, and improvisation. Focus will be on teaching theatre fundamentals, while using the tools of the actor -- voice, body, and imagination. This class is for all levels of experience. Students are encouraged to return and build upon previous classes.
Theatre Lab (ages 12+) - Taught by Richard Leebrick
A unique theatre education offering that puts actors and writers together. Playwrights spend the first hour focusing on scene writing. The second hour the actors join the group to collaborate with the writers. The third hour is dedicated to building acting skills. Students can choose to participate in one or both sections.
Saturdays, April 12 to May 31
Writers Section - 12:30-2:30pm, $110
Actors Section - 1:30-3:30, $110
Both Sections - 12:30-3:30pm, $135
